Frustrating experience

I bought these Reef sandals to be a comfortable pair for the beach and walking around in the summer. Reef supposedly guarantees against manufacturer defects, but my experience says otherwise. Let me note, I have never had a problem with any other sandals in my life. The strap on the left sandal is by far tighter than the one on the right sandal. Every single time I wear the sandals I end up with a blister on the top of my left foot. It rubs and chafes so much that it is entirely uncomfortable to wear them at all. I contacted Reef’s customer service, and they were not only no help whatsoever, they were actively rude. They said that because I hadn’t bought from the website that they weren’t willing to do anything. That’s weird since warranty issues would have to go through them directly. I had proof of purchase and everything. I left the convo with a terrible taste in my mouth. I will never buy Reef sandals again and will actively tell people to stay away. Thanks for nothing, Reef.
